Braathe Speaks and Facilitates Training at United Nations in New York City
Robert Braathe, in association with Mentor Global Consultants, facilitated a full day workshop on Communicating in an Intercultural Environment in United Nations New York City USA. Participants engaged in interactive activities including listening skills, best and worst practices in communication and effective presentations.
The 25 participants of the UN Young Professionals Programs who participated represent the future of the UN and the knowledge and experience they gained will prepare them to deal with difficulty, provide better direct feedback and encourage them to show initiative and build relationships.
Participants from Australia, Algeria, Brazil, Costa Rica, France, Kenya, Niger, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, the United States and Zimbabwe who worked in places like Addis Ababa, Geneva, Jalalabad, Nairobi, New York, Santiago and Vienna, Austria gave Robert the opportunity to bring a number of cultures and perspectives together during this training.
